VaccinesWork.org is a community blogging platform powered by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. Our aim is to bring together organisations and individuals working on immunisation around the world to share their stories in a way that can help everyone understand the importance of vaccination. In conjunction with @Vaccines, our community Twitter handle, we aim to cover a range of topics connecting immunisation with global health and development, as well as shining a spotlight on the vaccine heroes who save lives every day.

Would you like to get involved? Check out our blogging guidelines, consider whether you’d like to submit a vaccine portrait or when you might like to tweet @Vaccines.

In line with the core topics of Gavi’s Mid Term Review, we are also particularly interested in stories or perspectives on these topics in 2018:

  • Global health security, outbreaks and how we can respond to them
  • A look back at immunisation progress since 2000
  • The role of immunisation in sustainable development, integration with other areas of health
  • Innovative ways to help vaccines work, including technology and interesting collaborations

Send your ideas, pitches and questions to socialmedia@gavi.org – we look forward to hearing from you!
